What makes a place really special is its people. And while the Populus has a great bar, rooms are nice, and great rooftop views - the people who work here are incredible. I want to specially shoutout Jack for always taking care of me and my friends/co-workers during our mornings dining at the restaurant in the lobby. Everyone here really made us feel taken care of, and I’d highly recommend this place to everyone

Unique hotel chosen by my client for a board meeting, first time I stayed there and won’t be my last the next time I am in Seattle. Service was excellent, friendly staff and unique ambiance that reflects Seattle/Washington State’s culture of greenery/tree theme. Bed was warm and comfy during the winter stay. Love that the key holder is actually renewable because you can plant it! I had a minor issue when I saw that I was charged $11 for an alcoholic drink from the minibar which was resolved when I called the hotel since I don’t drink. Definitely would stay again.

A beautifully curated space that definitely feels like a breath of fresh air. Every little detail is so noticed and appreciated- The local art, the little touches in the rooms, the roof rop! This will always be my favorite spot to staycation, hands down!! My stay was made even better by the hospitality of Aurora and Michael who helped wrap this gift of a space w/a pretty Lil bow

I am completely obsessed with this hotel. Staying true to its name, Populus, the design feels rooted in growth and nature—from the lush plants throughout the space to the thoughtfully curated, plant-themed books and details. You can genuinely feel the hotel’s commitment to sustainability in every corner. The gym was exceptional—easily one of the best hotel gyms I’ve experienced. It’s stocked with top-of-the-line, modern equipment: a full set of hand weights up to 75 lbs, two Pelotons, cardio machines, kettlebells, bands, plus water and towels. No compromises here. The rooms are equally impressive and incredibly well appointed. Everything feels intentional and high quality: plush robes and slippers, Aesop bath products, a steamer, T3 hairdryer, adorable individual pour-over coffee setups, tea, beautiful mugs, and even solid, quality hangers (a small detail that makes a big difference). The bed is comfortable with great pillows and bedding, and the towels are luxuriously soft. A lovely bonus is the complimentary coffee for guests at the café each morning—and I also enjoyed a delicious dinner at the bar at Salt restaurant one evening during my stay. Honestly, it’s hard to find a single thing to critique. The only addition that would elevate the experience even further would be room service options. Otherwise, Populus feels thoughtfully cultivated in every way—and I can’t wait to return.

My stay at the Populus Hotel in Seattle was fantastic! The staff was absolutely amazing—friendly, helpful, and professional from check-in to check-out. The hotel felt very clean and safe, and I appreciated that a key card was required to enter after a certain hour. The room smelled wonderful and was spotless and comfortable. The rooftop bar is a must-visit—stunning views of the city, excellent drinks, and great service. While the food menu was limited, I tried the Swedish meatballs and they were delicious. Breakfast at the restaurant was another highlight. The service was once again top-notch, and the food was amazing. Overall, I’d highly recommend Populus Hotel for anyone visiting Seattle—great staff, beautiful atmosphere, and excellent food and drinks.

loved my stay here! The hotel is stylish, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful greenery. The design is exactly the kind I like modern, calming, and full of character. The service was excellent as well; everyone was friendly and attentive. And since the hotel just opened this year, everything feels fresh and thoughtfully done. Highly recommend!
